Decouvertes #8

LouiSimone Guirandou Gallery presents “Découvertes #8”, bringing together works by Naëtt Mbaye, Chelsea Odufu, Saleh Lô and Raé in an exhibition that considers how looking can become an act of recognition, memory, and transformation.

Working across photography, painting, collage, installation, and textile-based practices, the four artists explore themes of visibility, cultural transmission, social responsibility, and imagination. Family archives, ancestral knowledge, spiritual worlds, overlooked communities and contemplative landscapes unfold through distinct artistic languages that invite new ways of seeing.

Rather than offering a single perspective, “Découvertes #8” encourages viewers to reconsider what is often hidden, forgotten, or taken for granted, revealing how shifting our gaze can reshape our understanding of the world and those who inhabit it.
